About
A t-shirt that's unfinished, on purpose.
Some days a full crochet top is too much. But a plain tee never quite feels like you either. The FIY Tee sits right in between: an everyday essential with room left for your craft.
Each sleeve has a row of embroidered slits, ready for your hook. Crochet in some ribbing, a scalloped edge, or a pop of colour, and turn a simple tee into something no one else owns. Change your mind? Frog it and start again. The shirt's half done. The fun part's yours.
Made for your hook
Every slit is embroidered around like a mini buttonhole, so it won't fray, even after round after round of crocheting, frogging, and washing.
Recommended hook size
3.5mm (E-4) and below
Heavyweight, but comfortable
At 230gsm, this tee is thicker than most everyday t-shirts. It holds its shape when you crochet into it, feels substantial on, and isn't see-through.
100% organic cotton
Soft, breathable, and made to be worn on repeat.

Caring for your tee
Your FIY Tee is made to be worn and washed with your crochet on it. A little care keeps both the tee and your stitches looking their best.
- Gentle wash, cold or up to 30°C
- Turn inside out before washing
- Wash with similar colours
- Once you've crocheted into your sleeves, use a laundry bag or hand wash
- Do not bleach
- Line dry or tumble dry low. Air drying helps prevent shrinkage
- Iron on low heat if needed, but do not iron on the print
- Do not dry clean
We make the tee. You finish it.
Care & Maintenance
Your crochet piece is handmade with care, so we recommend treating it gently.
Wash in cold water with mild soap, avoid hot water. Then, lay it flat in the shade to dry so it keeps its shape. Avoid hanging it, as that may stretch the stitches.
Fold it instead and store it snugly. If you’d like to smooth out creases, a gentle steam will do the trick.
With just a little love, your piece will stay looking beautiful for years to come.
